Using industry-standard cleaning procedures allows us to remove any contaminant on your films, such as dust, mould or other foreign elements which have settled on your film transfer to digital. We offer a cleaning service for your film's which will clean, lubricate and condition your cine film. 

The cost of film cleaning is included in the transfer price and helps to preserve the film for long term storage.

Our film transfer process uses a film scanner that individually captures each frame of your movie to ensure the highest quality. Our scanning method records all the data from every frame, with an average of 1,000 frames captured per minute. These frames are then digitally compiled, stabilized, and cleaned to provide the best possible digital result.

In the final preparation, we make sure that the film grain and the shape of the projector film gate are visible in the digital copy. We include a film title, which can either be based on what’s written on the film’s storage box or a title you provide. For silent films, we add a period-appropriate soundtrack of a vintage projector running.
